For Dapur Indonesia, a vegan restaurant in Zurich, we brought a holistic brand experience to life, reflecting the richness and warmth of Indonesian cuisine in a modern, plant-based context.
From logo creation to defining a clear visual identity supported by thoughtful brand communication. We designed and built the website, created all graphic design assets, and led the food photo shooting to ensure a consistent, appetizing, and authentic look across all touchpoints.
A Modern Vegan Cuisine
Founded in 2011, Dapur was Zurich’s first Indonesian restaurant, created by Diane, a Jakarta native, and her partner Rachel. What began as a long-held dream grew into a place where travelers and locals alike rediscovered the depth and warmth of Indonesian cuisine.
Defined by its rich use of spices, Indonesian cooking is at the heart of Dapur. The menu featured essential plant-based dishes prepared with respect for tradition and craft.

Built on WordPress, the website combines a modern digital experience with the atmosphere of the restaurant. High-quality food photography brings the dishes to life, supported by a clearly structured menu covering starters, mains, and desserts. An integrated table booking system simplifies reservations, while a curated ingredients section introduces the unique elements of vegan Indonesian cooking.

The food photography was developed under our art direction, with a strong focus on styling, presentation, and atmosphere. We curated all props and set elements to complement the dishes and highlight the character of vegan Indonesian cuisine.
